Write for us

Bright Concert Guide welcomes carefully scoped pitches about concert-going, programme reading and the small choices that help listeners pay attention. A useful proposal starts with one reader question and a clear answer.

What to pitch

Suggest an evergreen subject that a general reader can explore safely without relying on professional advice, local rules or access to a particular venue. We are interested in clear explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth checks and occasion-based listening ideas. Each pitch should have its own subject and central recommendation.

What makes a strong proposal

Send a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and the main point the piece will make. Explain how the idea differs from familiar advice and what terms or assumptions you would need to explain. Keep claims proportionate; do not invent experience, sources or access.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include any relevant links or supporting material in your message, but do not send a complete unsolicited article. A proposal is not a promise of publication.
